A Message From Our  President
Elaine White

Hi! My name is Elaine White. I am the newly elected president of Macomb County Association for the Education of Young Children. I have been a member for over nine years. I’m happy to begin this undertaking as your
president-elect.
I have been a preschool teacher for over nine years. I am currently a substitute teacher for Macomb County Head Start. Four years ago I chose to return to college. My first teacher and mentor was Brenda Alward. I am proud to say that I graduated from Macomb Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education in May 2006. I went onto Rochester College where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in December 2007 with a BS in Early Childhood Education.
We are actively seeking new members and hope that you will join us for our workshops and other activities presented by Macomb AEYC. Please contact me with any questions or comments. I hope that you will consider becoming more actively involved in this organization. My contact information is available at www.macombaeyc.com.
